…and lots of water under the bridge since last post. Still in Oslo in what seems to be a mild winter with beautiful colours…
This is the new city area “Bjørvika” with its distinct design-theme called “Barcode” and the new operahouse in the foreground.
There are still some older features to be seen behind the scenes: a still actively working fishing boat, a piece of loading equipment now at rest…
A ramp to load things by that by now probably is totally lost and forgotten…?
and a really rusty…well, to call it a boat is perhaps not the right thing… anyhow, it still floats, still put to good use and made quite extraordinarily beautiful through how its body works the rays of the low winter sun.
I find all this very interesting. old. new. discarded. reused. moved around, shuffled. its amazingly dynamic and quiet at the same time. Sunday afternoon and all is resting. And above it all the seagulls play in silence. My heart and soul feels strenghtened walking by the ocean like this. My body too. Embracing presence walking swiftly, slowly lingering, jumping between the discarded railwaylines, over poodles of water from last days rain... Nice. Humble aliveness, no pretence. Also this is wilderness.
